I heard from a Jewish resident of Tiberias who once had the opportunity to sleep for several nights near the Ridvaz [Rabbi Yaakov Dovid Wilovsky] of blessed memory, and he said that every night when midnight arrived, the Ridvaz’s entire body would shudder during his sleep.

שָׁמַעְתִּי מִיהוּדִי אֶחָד תּוֹשָׁב טְבֶרְיָה שֶׁהִזְדַּמֵּן לוֹ פַּעַם לִישֹׁן כַּמָּה לֵילוֹת בִּמְחִצָּתוֹ שֶׁל הָרִידְבָּ”ז זַצַ”ל וְאָמַר שֶׁבְּכָל לַיְלָה בְּהַגִּיעַ זְמַן חֲצוֹת הָיָה כָּל גּוּפוֹ שֶׁל הָרִידְבָּ”ז מִזְדַּעְזֵעַ בְּתוֹךְ שְׁנָתוֹ.
